We are purposed to be a bible preaching, soul winning, disciple making, fervent praying, church planting, missionary sending and supporting church in downtown Ocala, Florida.

However, regardless of where you look at the ministry of Downtown, the "why" we do what we do will always be present. It could be from praise practice to discipleship to missions, the ultimate goal is always the same.

We desire to glorify God by making Jesus and God’s words known and by establishing faithful disciples in transforming fellowship with Him.

How we approach accomplishing that goal may be different in the many areas of ministry at Downtown Baptist Temple, but that is our goal.
